Valley Graphics has a complete in-house Art Department available to prepare your designs for our Production department. For customers wishing to supply their own camera-ready artwork, the following guidelines apply:

Black text and/or art on white, untextured paper or Black text and/or art on clear film. Film must be in positive form. Halftones at 45-50 lines per inch. Art supplied at final size or larger.

As computers become more widely used, we find many of our customers wishing to supply electronic artwork. Valley Graphics works in a PC environment and requires vector format artwork. The following file formats yield the highest quality results:

Adobe Illustrator: .ai, .eps files, all colours and lines converted to spot colours. Text converted to curves.
Corel Draw: .cdr files, all colours and lines converted to spot colours. Text converted to curves.
Adobe Photoshop: .tiff, .psd, 300 dpi resolution minimum, clean halftones, artwork sized.
Tiff: .tif, .tiff files, 300 dpi resolution minimum, clean halftones, artwork sized.
We cannot accept .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp or MAC files with the exception of .eps files.

Artwork may be e-mailed (files no larger than 2Mb); larger files must be supplied on PC zip or CD. If design is supplied electronically, a hard copy must also be supplied, showing colour placement. Please remember to include the name of your company, phone number and contact name, as well as any special instructions such as PMS colours and final size of design.
