A customer catalogue consists of a set of products, which are organized into categories. For each product, the following information is displayed to your customer:
- Product name
- Product picture
- Price structure
- SKU
- Product description
|
- Features of the products
- Options available
- Product sizes
- and any other information you want
|
The customer can click on the product picture to view a page with a larger picture on it. Sometimes this page will also have more information for the customer. The customer can then select items to purchase, generate a quote, use web forms to order the items. Our sites use bank-level security.
With little effort on your part, you can quickly make a custom catalogue for each of your customers. Each customer catalogue contains a set of products from your company’s main catalogue.
You can easily tailor each customer catalogue to the individual needs of your customers. You can display a different set of products from your company catalogue to each customer. You can arrange and group the products differently. You can give different price structures to different customers.
Example:
Suppose A Corp. and B Corp. are both customers of yours. You know that A Corp. employees buy more clothing than all other promotional products combined. You also know that B Corp. employees tend to be avid golfers and the company even has its own annual golf tournament. You will want to display all clothing and wearable merchandise most prominently in your A Corp. catalogue and golf-related merchandise most prominently in your B Corp. catalogue.
Also suppose that A Corp. is a much larger customer than B Corp. You may want to give A Corp. somewhat lower prices to help retain them as customer, knowing that with the volume they order, you can afford a slightly smaller profit margin because the volume makes up for it. However, you cannot profitably lower the prices for B Corp. In this case, you can simply set different price structures for each customer catalogue on your website and make them password protected so your customers will not see each others’ prices.

Another way to use the online Customer Catalogues is in conjunction with a phone call to sell your products. You can talk to your customer and tell them about your products while your customer sees the products in your online Customer Catalogue. For example, you could recommend products and help your customer find them on your website.
