Accepted File Format Guide

To serve you faster and more efficiently we require your information in a digital form. The following are our preferred file formats.  When you provide your information in the suggested formats we will move your information to the Internet quickly and accurately and at significantly lower cost.

General Requirements

-         standard - “800 x 600 screen resolution OR 780 w x 445 h (pixels)”. 

-         “Top Banner” should have a maximum length of 780 pixels and may be up to 120 pixels high.

-         “Catalogue Pictures” should be within 450 – 500 pixels wide with height aspect ratios maintained. Where an image is tall and narrow (pens) set the image height at no more than 650 pixels and width aspect ratio maintained.

-         “Logos” can be sent to us in a .jpg, .gif .psd or .ppd file format.  If your logo contains text we ask that you send the logo in each of the following sizes: 50 pixels, 100 pixels, 200 pixels, 300 pixels and 400 pixels wide. This will allow us to use images in different locations across your site.

-         "Image names" should be named preferable by “SKU”.

-         Provide logo colours as “web colors” (#ffffff), RGB, CMYK or Pantone colors.

Image Requirements

- Scan images at 72 dpi (dots per inch).

- Image Format must be .jpg or .gif . Also accepted .jpeg, .jpe, .jif or .jfif We will accept the following formats:  .tif, .psd, .pdf, .qxd and .bmp. However, (additional charges will apply when files are received in these formats as they will have to be converted into .jpg or .gif formats)

Text Requirements

- provide text documents in the following formats:  .TXT, .RTF, .DOC, .PXT, .XLS, .WPD, .PDF, or .QXD.

- Database information will only be accepted in a tab delimited text file or any format that can export to a tab delimited file. (E.g. MS Excel Spreadsheet.)
